- Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in the home of his father and mother.
- His father was an abusive drunk. He never got along with Rikki and often took out a lot of his frustration on him.
- When his little brother was born, his mother filed for separation.
- Half a year after the separation, Joey went to rehab to try and get over his alcohol addiction.
- A few months after his rehab stint, he moved back in and several years went by before he fell back into his old ways.
- At age 12, Rikki began noticing attraction to boys in a not friend-like manner. He experimented with a few before he finally figured out what was up with him. He wasn't gay, he had a girlfriend before and was attracted to girls. But he seemed to like guys too. He was bisexual.
- At age 13, Rikki came out to his parents about being bisexual. His mother was very accepting of it, but his father, who was slipping back into his ways of being an abusive alcoholic again and took out his disapproval on Rikki.
- Due to his abusive manner towards Rikki, Helena couldn't take it anymore and divorced Joey, moving from Pittsburgh to West Chester, even going as far as getting a restraining order on Joey who wouldn't leave them alone after the divorce.
- In West Chester, Rikki met his first official boyfriend, ![[info]](http://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) aarondc, who he spent two years with. They broke up, but no bad blood was between them. They just figured they were better as friends than lovers.
- Between the ages of 14 and 17, he started writing and playing music. He plays guitar and sings.
- Rikki barely graduated high school with barely average grades. He didn't really care so much for school. He wanted to play music.
- After graduating, he and a few school friends decided to make a band, which they named Lenore after the Edgar Allan Poe poem as well as the Roman Dirge comic.
- The band has been performing small joints and open mic nights along the eastern sea board but have yet to get signed to a label to release material. They however were asked to play the 2010 Vans Warped Tour. They accepted.
- While he isn't rocking, he is assistant manager and clerk at the Record Bin in West Chester, Pennsylvania, being the one in charge while his boss Heather is in Los Angeles doing Rockstar: Supernova.
- Rikki is currently single and openly bisexual. He will admit it to just about anyone.
- He smokes and drinks on occasion. He wont let his drinking get the best of him, refusing to be anything like his father.
- His mother re-married a guy named Declan who is absolutely nothing like his real father. In fact, he embraces Rikki because he too is bisexual.
- His father, who he hasn't seen since moving is about to marry a woman much like himself, a boozer named Rosa.
- He has a ton of tattoos because he likes them. He has a chest piece about family and his Dad tattoo represents his step father whom he considers a real father. He has a ton of other tattoos as well.
- He's naturally a dirty blonde, but has bleached it and colored it plenty of other colors in his life time as form of artistic expression.
- Rikki currently lives on his own in an apartment in West Chester.
